Legalisation & Apostille
What is Legalisation?
Some documents (Birth, Death & Marriage Certificates) do not always need a notary. They may simply need to be legalised. We can arrange this for you and if you require, we can have your documents shipped to almost anywhere in the world.
As a firm of notaries, we can advise you on what you need to do to legalise, the timescale and the costs. We legalise documents nationally, so if you’re in our home town of Birmingham or somewhere else, we can help.
Which documents can we help you legalise?
You can legalise documents of all types and nationalities with us including:
- Certified Copy of an Entry of Birth
- Certified Copy of an Entry of Marriage
- Certified Copy of an Entry of Death
- Certificate of No Impediment
- ACRO certificates bearing an original wet ink signature
- Original Decree Nisi or Absolute Stamped and Sealed by a Court
- Original Companies House documents signed with a wet ink signature of an official of Companies House
- Certificate of Incorporation signed with a wet ink signature of an official of Companies House
Do you only handle UK documents?
We handle documents from over 60 countries across the globe, so you can use us regardless of where your documents were issued. Example countries include: US, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Russia, France, Germany and Italy. Request a quote from us and just let us know what documents you have, and where they were issued.
Will I need to have my documents notarised?
If you are unsure whether your document is eligible for our “Legalisation Only” service, please call us on 0800 058 1180.
We are a firm of notaries, so we can undertake the additional notarial work, should it be required.
