Buying or selling a property abroad is for many, a very exciting prospect. The process to buy and sell properties abroad is different to that in the UK.
As a firm of notaries, we do not advise on the transaction. What we are good at is helping UK buyers and sellers arrange the witnessing of signatures on any Power of Attorney they may need.
A foreign Power of Attorney is a document we are very used to. We have a streamlined process for dealing with this type of document.
We have a network of foreign lawyers and estate agents who refer clients to us, to facilitate their Power of Attorney being completed.
We undertake the notarisation of the document, the legalisation of the document with the FCDO (the Apostille) and finally the couriering of the finished document back to the appropriate country.
